Dudmaston Hall Residency

Dudmaston Hall Residency
January – November 2013

I will be in residence at Dudmaston Hall, a National Trust property in Shropshire until November 2013, supported by Turning Point West Midlands.

Responding to the Modern art collection held on site, I will be researching notions of ‘blankness’ in relation to a diverse selection of starting points such as, monochromatic painting, abstraction of information and the mind’s proclivity to block out areas of thinking that are perceived as beyond it’s understanding. The resulting drawings and writings will be published in newspaper format later this year.

The property is open to the general public from 17 March until the end of Autumn and you can visit me every Monday and the last Sunday of each month as I set up studio in the former kitchen.
